Wrigley Field video boards

One thing that really bothered me about the trailer was the size of the new video boards ar Wrigley compared to the old center field scoreboard. The left field video board IRL is MUCH larger than the center field scoreboard, but in The Show they appear to be similar sizes. I'm a season ticket holder right behind home plate and was reviewing some pictures from this past season, and I found a pretty good illustration of how it should look vs. how they appear in The Show 16:

Nice picture for comparison. Maybe there is time for the developers to see it and make an adjustment.

Re: Wrigley Field video boards

wow there is a huge difference there.

not too mention the new score board should be moved to the left a lot more in the show. also the old scoreboard should be shrunken in the show.

I believe it's just a matter of perspective. I can't find a great comparison picture, but from this view they look much closer in size

That are to scale. It's actually the focal draw distance of that batting camera that gives that illusion. It's present in bp4's photo too, making them seem closer in size. FYI - the LF board is bigger by a fair amount.

This isn't a real picture. This is a rendering from the original proposal, which later changed. You'll notice where it says "Financial" on top of the video board in your picture instead of Wintrust. I went to over 100 games at Wrigley this year. I promise you the video board is much larger, from any perspective you can think of.

Re: Wrigley Field video boards

The old CF scoreboard is way too big, the LF scoreboard looks close. At least from that angle.

And yeah, the "real" pic above is from the design rendering. Notice the light tower on the foul line? That isn't up yet in real life.

Here's an even better view (after a Kris Bryant walk off homer):
