Homerun Celebration Camera - would you turn it off if you could?

There used to be an option to turn off the HR celebration camera completely, however that was removed in 2015 for some reason.

I hope to God that they are able to put in the option to turn if off in 2016.

Would you turn if off if you could?

    Without blinking.

One of my most hated things about this game.

What do you mean? That cutaway camera angle on no doubt homers?

I also am not really a big fan of the "Home Run Cut Away Cam" that you sometimes see on no doubters! And I was really sad to see the option to turn it On or Off removed a few years ago. However luckily unlike in past versions you will see the "Home Run Cut Away Cam" also show on long foul balls too. So unlike in past versions where everytime the "Home Run Cut Away Cam" popped up you knew it was a guaranteed Home Run now when the "Home Run Cut Away Cam pops up" it can sometimes be a foul ball too.

But like a lot of us I still really want an option to turn the "Home Run Cut Away Cam" OFF!!! I just think the "Home Run Cut Away Cam" takes away some of the excitement of a long ball!

Oh no, I would always have that cam on. its a great feeling when you see that cam shot knowing you just knocked the crap out of that ball.

I would have it turned off at all times. I love the anticipation and uncertainty that comes with the default camera view.

Please SCEA bring back the option to turn off the HR cam.

I completely agree that it takes away from the excitement of hitting a home run. Just keep the normal behind the plate broadcast cam we would see on a normally on TV on long fly balls even no doubters.

I wouldn't. There's no drama in most of those blasts that the HR cam kicks in for (ones that clear the wall by 30-40 feet or more) - you know they're gone as soon as they leave the bat. At that point I'd rather be watching the player reactions.

I would have it turned off. I always did. I love the pull back that shows no doubters. Love that camera shot. It's majestic.

I hope they bring back being able to see screaming foul balls. They totally neutered that on 15 (along with catcher throw backs to pitchers and some other little nuggets in an effort to streamline the game. But it's baseball and it should be deliberate. That is what the "X" button is for if you don't want the full monty immersion).

                  So I hope, I hope.

Never been a fan of the celebration animations. I remember hitting a 464ft no doubter to CF in Cincinnati and I couldn't even see where the ball landed.

Never really understood why the option to turn it on/off was omitted. I see no harm in including it so both those who enjoyed the home run animations or not have the game tuned to their preference.

I want to have the cut away but have an option to follow the ball and see where it lands-and idk why the distance meter only comes up half the time.

LOVE this cam. I would absolutely not turn it off. In fact, I wish there was a slider attached to it so I could increase the frequency of the cut away shots.

Fully support the option to remove it, but I like the cut away animation.

Also, I would like to have the distance displayed on all HRs.

love this camera... both ways that is...

because if you think about it.. due to the shadow and its size as it approaches the wall you know anyway whether or not it is a home run anywa... for the most part that is...

it gives you instant joy or pain and i love it...

IMO, it just need to be tuned to happen only on veeeeery long homer. Everything that is not let's say 10% farther than the fence should be regular cam to keep the drama. That way, in a 400ft CF, the HR cam would come in only if the final distance is 440+...

SCEA could even let us set that percentage to our liking.
