2016 video opener: What would you like to see?

as we all know that this franchise has had some freaking awesome video openers over its time... well except for 15. that was a imo lackluster opener from this franchise.

i really hope that with the launch of 16 that we will get a eye popping holy cow, i can't believe how awesome that open was moment...

what would you like to see as a video opener to this years...

p.s. i know it is already done of course and cant be changed, just getting peoples thoughts on what they would like to see...

Would love to see the opening video be like an MLB network stat-cast montage. I know the MLB Network banner sightings in the teaser video a few weeks ago had some people speculating about MLB network style presentation in this years game.

And a change up to the opening vid music. They've been using some sort of dramatic score in the opening vid for a while. Use some sort of heavy metal or hard rock track. I know that goes against MLBTS's norm, as they tend to use a lot of alternative rock songs from non-mainstream bands in their sound track.

The 14 intro was so amazing, I'd often watch it even when I was in a hurry to get to a game. Seriously, if they just copy-and-pasted that intro and slapped a "16" on it, I wouldn't be the slightest bit upset.

(Then we got 15 and the Puig montage... eck.)

I remember back when the triple play series went with rock mostly. 2001 was one of my favorites when they used Steppenwolf Magic Carpet Ride. That got you jonesing to play the game.

Open disclosure here. I am a black middle age guy. I loved the hell out that Magic Carpet Ride. I did not skip it every time I loaded the game. It got you pump. Now "Radioactive" intro for the Show is pretty good!

They used the same style for triple play 98 that year. Must of had the same team do it.

I'd prefer they go the NBA 2k16 route... LOL. That intro was wtf, but the game is fantastic!
