Ramone - Glad you guys are hearing us... I'm sure we'll get some of this stuff in down the road.

I've brought up the idea of being able to use the fixed broadcast cameras for replay cuts and highlight reel creation for sharing. Would love to see it in the game at some point.

There are already plenty of camera angles.

Yes but none of them are even close to what a lot of us are asking for.

One of the reasons cameras don't get worked on. The game is great. Of course its great. But, when they added cameras a couple of years ago, it brought a freshness that was seriously acclaimed in this forum. Many people here raved about the new cameras. Now several years removed from that, its time to add a few more. I'm ready to stop chasing the ball's shadow and watching what the game wants me to see (zoom-ins). I (and others) would just like a few camera choices that show full field, no zoom-ins, more of the ball in flight, etc. Seriously, what better way to show off the amazing stadiums, physics, and animations than to show all of that on screen at the same time?

And when Ramone says it isn't easy, I believe him. Programming seems incredibly hard. But the dev in that video gave us a glimpse of a free flying camera with the flick on the controller, and it APPEARED to be working well. Loved that view....too bad it won't be in the game.

Re: MLB The Show 16 cameras

I agree 100%.

I guess what confuses me is that when there already is a camera angle in the game (press box) and it can be used for manage only games, yet it cannot be used if you just want to watch cpu vs cpu. That seems odd to me.

Also, as you mentioned, the press box view (or something very close to it) was shown in the video stream the other day when they were showing off OF routes to the ball, etc. Yet we can't get this in the game officially. Just seemed odd to me.

Re: MLB The Show 16 cameras

i would plead for them to throw it in last minute if it's not there. SOOO many people for years have been asking for this camera angle. I get how there's 'plenty' of cameras within the game already, but THIS particular angle isn't and is a highly requested addition. Camera's add a fresh feel to a game, especially one that gets subtle upgrades (newer routes to balls, cleats transitioning better on the ground, ball physics tweaks, even more 'new' animations for fielding. .. etc).

here's some of the promoted aspects about mlb the show.... 13.
Hitting engine improvements deliver more hit variety than ever before
Improved ball physics
Over 250 new fielding and running animations
Over 90 new batting stances
Over 130 batting stance re-captures for players who changed their stances
Over 60 new HR swings

Throwing new stuff into the game this late in the cycle isn't feasible or remotely safe for that matter.
