Creating a player before RTTS

I have a question probably stupid but nonetheless I'll see if I can get some help...

On MLB the show I downloaded a roster and was trying to be a player that's on the Orioles roster (Dylan Bundy) but I try to create a player on RTTS and use model after MLB but he doesn't show on the roster...

Am I doing something wrong or am I trying something that isn't possible to do?

Apparently you can only model yourself after certain players. None of which can be created, that I'm certain of.

If you are trying to create a player and put him on a custom roster. You need to create the player then go to rosters and replace a player at the desired position with "import position player" I do this with a created player and player lock for franchise mode.
