    Xbox One?

Has there been any talk of the series being released on Xbox One as well? It seems crazy to limit their potential profits by only releasing on PS4 and Xbox One owners don't have a legitimate baseball game.

2k owns third party MLB license (it's the primary reason MVP went away). Sony is only permitted to release this game on PlayStation or I'm sure they would release for both.

Never going to happen. The Show is made by Sony for PS4. Xbox owners have to hope EA or someone else decides to make a game.

It's a first party Sony game, so I'd say the chances are pretty slim. About as slim as Halo being released on Playstation.

They are a Sony company so they will only release it on Playstation. Wish there was some competition on the Xbox side, mainly because I want a baseball game to play on both my consoles. haha

No, Sony makes the game. Maybe after Microsoft starts selling Halo on PS4.

I don't believe anyone owns the third party "exclusive" license.

              RBI is on both consoles.

But I'm pretty sure Sony won't allow their exclusive franchise on another system. It would be like having God of War on xbox.

Also, I think 2K made such a mess of their franchise that no one wants to get back into the market.

Microsoft will have to shell out some heavy change for this to ever happen.

This anyone can make a baseball game if they wanted too. Now the feasibility of that happening well that's a completely different story.

I read somewhere yesterday that Phil Spencer was aware of the fact that the xbox doesn't have a baseball game currently on their console akin to "The Show". Perhaps something for them will be released in the next few years.

Thanks for the responses guys. Looks like a great game. Would love to have it on the Xbox One but I understand Sony keeping it exclusive for sure.

I'm 99% sure this is not the case anymore. I don't think 2K holds the exclusive license anymore.
