I only Pitch and never hit - any of you fellas do this also ?

hitting is just to hard.

oh, sure, in high school I could hit .320 - .400.

the show is much harder, at least for me.

so, I only pitch. classic style and this year I will be tracking stats to see how realistic the numbers are.

I also so thirty team control and just pitch with whomever I want too.

I find that defensive shifting in very important and that hitters acrost the league actually hit according to their spray chart(s).

Do you shift for every hitter ?

I have a shift bible, if you will, for each hitter in the league. I should post it and if you have ideas I hope you post yours as well.

No, but I hate batting.

As a kid playing organized baseball, I love being on defense but hated when we had to bat.

It just seemed so boring to me. Not only the fact that hitting a baseball is one of the hardest feats in sports but because you are restricted to the basepath. There really isn't any skill involved besides just running fast and sometimes having to slide.

I have been doing the opposite its like RTTS with a whole team, Im just doing it now while I wait the week for the new game

I love pitching. I think it is because you can be successful 75% of the time compared to hitting, which is more like a 27% success rate.

I too tend to only pitch. In real life I was a light hitting shortstop with good defense (when I wasn't on the mound) so I suppose that has just remained my favorite part of the game. I also enjoy playing on 30 team control and pitch whoever I want.

I love to pitch & I am a notoriously weak hiiter. But Dynamic Hittting is a godsend & I can now tolerate the batting aspect of the Show. But still, pitching is the tops.

No, usually I only bat and FF to the next half inning when I am in the field.

I like both pretty equal to be honest though I probably do slightly prefer the mental aspect of pitching compared to batting.
