MLB The Show 16 Bug List

Issue: Sacrifice Bunt Animation in MOM
    # of occurrences: 1

Scenario: Called for a Sac bunt by Nori Aoki. Squared to bunt, took the pitch for a ball, never moved the bat. Then stayed in the squared stance , never went back to regular batting stance in preparation for the next pitch.

Note: in '15 the batter would have tried to bunt at the pitch out of the zone, so it was nice to see him take the pitch.

Something I've noticed while watching everyone's streams...

When using Quick Counts, the game is not registering a pitch in the pitch count for every batter. For example, the first batter of the game will generate a 3-2 count, but the pitch count will be 4 pitches. Then say the batter walks on the next pitch (pitch 5 according to the game) and the next batter starts with a 1-1 count, it'll show the pitch count as 6 pitches, when really the pitcher is at 8. Might seem small, but over the course of 20 batters, it really adds up.

That being said, absolutely cannot wait for Monday night! Everything looks amazing so far.

That was also in 2015, they said it was by design to generate realistic pitch count totals when using Quick Counts

Busch Stadium's center field wall says 336 ft for the distance. Short center field lol. Hope they can fix this!

There is definitely a carryover bug for RTTS too. Just went and checked my Phillies second baseman. Pretty sure he never played for the Mets and wouldn't be from North Carolina. Haha. The stats themselves look ok. It also bothers me that you no longer see jersey numbers for players on the player cards.

It is also doing the same thing for my other RTTS player. I have a third baseman on the Twins and his player card shows him as playing for the Royals.

That should deinitely be on the leftfield wall, the center needs to say 400ft.

              Very disconcerting.

I think the team ID numbers (within the code) are off. I'm seeing the same thing. They are aware of the randomly generated birthplace too.

I chuckled as soon as you said NC, because I was familiar with your player lol.

When you select "Rain" with a closed roof, it is still always sunny outside. Experienced this a few times at Miller Park. Hopefully it gets fixed.

Also not technically a bug, but the panels on Miller Park should be closed when the roof is. I thought Ramone said they addressed this on an older stream but it's not in the game.

Is it just rain or does it do it when you select overcast as well?

I was watching a stream in Miller Park earlier with the roof closed and so much sunlight was coming in it that you couldn't tell that the roof was closed.

Not sure. I'll have to check on that, but it's definitely an issue with rain. The thing with Miller Park is that there's the windows above the seats along the LF and RF lines, so there's going to be a lot of light coming in from those. But the large windows in the outfield should be covered by panels so that no light is coming in from them.

This isn't really the thread for this, but is the light coming in like that realistic? I don't watch many games from Miller Park but I don't remember so much light coming in. I could be wrong.

When you turn Pitch Select Display off it causes the Swing/Pitch Info box to not show up after you play a game. So you start a game. Turn Pitch Select Display off and everything is fine. But after that first game every other game the Swing/Pitch info no longer shows up. You have to turn on Pitch Select Display and off again. Easy work around but a bit annoying.
