Stuttering during gameplay?

For some reason, there is constant stuttering during gameplay (pitching and batting and from every camera I've used). I haven't seen this reported much elsewhere so I'm guessing it might have something to do with the way my TV and PS4 are set up? I've never had a problem like this before with The Show or any game, so I have no idea what to do to solve this. The game looks great and appears to play great, but the constant stuttering is a problem. Any help solving this would be appreciated!

EDIT: By stuttering, I mean the frame rate is just really low for some reason, makes the game not smooth at all.

EDIT 2: Bug Report for the issue. If you agree that this should be fixed (either now or for 17) go ahead and upvote please!

No I pre-loaded so it's been fully downloaded and installed for a few days now.

I've heard about it having a low frame rate. Hopefully they will be able to fix it. This game has a lot to do with timing and the stuttering messes it all up lol

no issue with stuttering here. Granted I've only played in minor league parks, so maybe its a stadium issue???

That's possible. It might have to do with the number of fans. Played most of my games so far in packed stadiums and then played a day game in Philly and the framerate seemed to be better, although still an issue.

Yeah I read in impressions thread that someone noticed low framerate in Wrigley. At least I think it was the impressions thread, there are so many right now...

It's not called stutter. There's another word for it that's on the tip of my tongue. A lot of PC gamers use this term.

Judder? It feels like judder. It feels like the game is 30 fps, which would introduce this judder like effect on a TV that refreshes at 60 Hz. I read too much digital foundry lol.

I don't know anything. But this is just what it feels like. MLB 15's frame rate fluctuated more but it was more fluid during gameplay. Cut scenes had a lower frame rate though.

And yes I did notice frame rate slowdown as pitchers come out of the bullpen at Wrigley.

I've had issues with stuttering in Safeco, especially while fielding groundballs where the camera has to move quicker than usual.

This was a small problem at times in 15, as well. Hoping it's sorted out.

It's definitely a lot less noticeable in the spring training stadium I'm playing at. I wonder why it's only affecting some people.

It "affects" everybody. We all have the same hardware and the same frame rate. Whether you notice it or not is another story.

Not that it's a problem that must be fixed. 1080p at 30 fps is standard. However, if MLB 15 had a fluctuating frame rate that was allowed to go above 30, and you're used to that, you would notice it.

I never noticed it in 15. I'd get a WHITE frame from time to time but not a problem. 15 had other major problems I hope was fixed in 16.

This has been an issue for a while with this series. Throwing to third or foul down third base line stutters regardless what stadium you play it

Its called screen tearing because the game drops constant frames from 60fps

was not fixed in 14 or 15 and i doubt it will be fixed in 16

What kind of TV are you using?

is there really framerate problems???

i thought it was 60fps this year.
