    Perfect Games and No Hitters

    Just got my first one.

    Corey Kluber @ Chicago WSox

    11 Ks 0 BB 0 H 0 E

Won 1-0 so pretty realistic feeling I felt pressure on every pitch not just for the perfect but for the win as well.

    Anyone else get one?

Re: Perfect Games and No Hitters

I threw a perfect game last night, but it was on Rookie/Rookie+ as it was my first game trying to get my Dynamic Difficulty level back up.

I don't really count that one.

Dynamic was up to All Star after the third. I've only played 3 or 4 games plus the WS lineup isn't very challenging after the first 4.

I actually threw a perfect game in the tutorial game with Volquez...wasn't planning to play the whole game, but was perfect through 3 or 4 innings (whenever the tutorial stuff stopped) and figured I'd see where it would end up. Once game was over there wasn't any fanfare i'm assuming because everything finished installing while I was playing that game.

There have been a ton of no hitters so far.

Also, I struck out the first 8 batters of the game with Luis Severino on All Star difficulty.

I mentioned this in the impressions thread..but seems more than normal..I played last night with David Price..Had a no-no until the 8th..He was on fire..12K's to boot..I get this type of start once in a blue moon but wasn't expecting it right off the bat..I was set to veteran hitting (zone)/pitching (classic)..Sliders at default..

Agreed, I've had two no-nos go until the 8th inning, (in my first 3 games in The Show 16) and I've never even come close before.

I threw a 1 hit CG shut out with King Felix. So far that's as close as I have come. I threw a perfect game with Paxton in The Show '14 for my only ever no-hitter.

Lost the perfect game on a bleeder through the left side after 8.2 in the tutorial game. That's as close as I've ever come in my 11 years of the show. Felt really weird without the commentary and fanfare that I imagined you'd get as you get close.

As I posted in another thread, I played my first game (I assume it was on rookie level since it was the first game on Dynamic), and I threw a no hitter. I was one out away from a perfect game (my 3rd baseman had an error on the last out). Kershaw had 16 Ks and 0 BBs. Thing is, I've never had a no hitter in the thousands of The Show games I've played over the past ten years.

I pitched a no hitter in my road to the show. It was in the minors, but I struck out 22 batters. lol

Gave up a leadoff single on opening day with the Dbacks and then retired 27 straight batters. Maddening stuff lol

Which begs the question: Which is worse, losing a no-hitter in the 9th with 2 out, or giving up a hit to start a game, and THAT be the only hit all game?

I had a perfect game going through 8, kinda zoning out with Netflix going on the side, and pulled Peavy because of his low energy. Only after pulling him did I noticed his stats, because the announcers never spoke about it.
