Dumb RTTS trade

OK I see the dumb trade logic is still in the game.. In year 1 of my RTTS I am in the White Sox system as a CF. They just made a trade that would Never happen Trevor Rosenthal and Matt Adams from the Cards to the Sox for Jose Abreu.. I am sorry this would never happen.. Sorry had to vent

Re: Dumb RTTS trade

Could try turning trade frequency all the way down and then back up at the beginning of July to get a more realistic approach.

That or just turn it down to one or two notches from the left. That's what I've done and I haven't seen any absurd trades. In fact, I've seen a couple of intelligent trades made by my team's GM. For example, I created a shortstop for the Tigers and stole Iglesias's job my rookie year. So the GM read the writing on the wall, realized he has his shortstop foe the future and traded Iglesias for some pitching. Smart move.

Ditto, turned the trade slider down in my RttS (Indians 3rd baseman currently at AAA in 2017 season), and I've seen pretty intelligent trades. In 2016 the Indians were competing for the division, they made more trades than I would have liked to have seen still, but there were no head-scratchers. Some maybe not realistic compared to real life in terms of players that would actually be traded, but they were smart in terms of what the teams involved needed.

Re: Dumb RTTS trade

Thanks for the ideas.. I will try that slider.. It is one I don't normally touch, but that trade was absurd
