PS4 Remote Play to Mac/PC
Today's PS4 system update allows remote play to Mac/PC. While I am out of the house and haven't tried it yet, I am interested to see if/how it will work with The Show. So much of this game is timing, and lags would make it hard if not impossible to play the actual games.

Re: PS4 Remote Play to Mac/PC
I played a little this morning and it seemed to play pretty well... Until everyone else in the house started sucking the wifi dry. Now that could just be my situation but it seemed to play pretty well, obviously not as good, but sufficient for when the spouse steals the tv.

Re: PS4 Remote Play to Mac/PC
Wait, what?? Remote play? So when my kids are camped in front of the TV watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Sesame Street, I can just turn on my PS4 and use my PC to at least edit rosters, and such? That is cool, even if the lag doesn't allow actual playing of the game. I'll have to try that tonight.Comment

Re: PS4 Remote Play to Mac/PC
I've been using the third party app at 720p and it runs just fine. Depends on your connection, uses a ton of bandwidth.Comment

Re: PS4 Remote Play to Mac/PC
No, you don't need a Vita (unless you're remote playing on the Vita). To remote play on PC/Mac you just need the Remote Play software installed. You also need a usb cable to connect your PS4 controller to the PC/Mac.
I can't post links yet (not enough posts) but you can find the link for the software and instructions by googling it or by going to the Playstation Blog.
It works pretty well for me, though as stated already, it does use a ton of bandwidth. I have a fairly high-end dual-band AC router, and it plays fine over Wi-Fi for me at 720p and the "high" framerate setting.Comment

Re: PS4 Remote Play to Mac/PC
I've been using a ported Remote Play application on my phone for a while now, it's a Samsung Galaxy Note 5. You can use on screen controls, or connect the ps4 controller via Bluetooth. Works great for messing around with rosters, drafting, etc. uploadfromtaptalk1459959926138.jpg

Currently installing Windows 10. If I ever needed a reason, this would be it.Comment
