I'm sure that there are quite a few addresses for SCEA on whole.
The OP alluded that he wanted the dev team to see this and respond in some way.
That is NOT where the dev team is located...so if tech support gave that address as the go to address to try and prompt a response...than it's not going to be the SCEA we talk about on this website.

Same here. Never had a problem until after the update.

Re: Talked to Sony Tech Support and things don't sound good

The about page regarding that address says it is a Playstation Consumer Services center. Definitely not a place where you could get a hold of any development team.

But what I find odd is, the woman you were on the phone with, she sounds an awful lot like a Consumer Service representative. Wouldn't that place her at the address of Consumer Services center that she forwarded to you? It sounds like these customer service agents are totally flooded and are trying to deflect calls just a bit.

I just hope that Sony and San Diego Studios can fix up these issues we are all having so we can go back to fully enjoying our MLB The Show experience.

I'd say your first mistake is you started this thread without the proper background knowledge of the issues you are discussing. Then you magnified that problem by talking to someone who probably knows even less than you do about the situation and took it as the gospel truth. Even if they are aware of whats causing it, or what is needed to fix it they aren't going to tell you on the phone. You essentially talked to a wal-mart greeter about internet programming.
