Franchise Schedules Year to Year

Does the schedule still just randomize with the same games each year in franchise mode? I noticed in MLB 15 that every year of my franchise, I played the same interleague games which meant I only could play the same 5 NL teams each year.

yes it does...according to franchise stream

I personally haven't played/simmed through one season to see if it rotates or not.

I don't mind the schedule having the same opponents every year (I was happier when MLB had the "balanced schedule", but I wish there could be some 4 PM games after the first year of franchise. The lighting and shadows are so good in this game that it sucks to never really see late afternoons after the first year.

Same applies for west coast playoff games. They never start at 10 PM Eastern Time. It should be twilight on the west coast for "night" playoff games.

This is why my suggestion is to at least allow us to override "time of day" when starting a franchise game just like we can for the weather.

I love the 4pm shadows at Wrigley.
