I usually just use the normal swing unless it's 0-2 with a good contact hitter.

Lol yeah, my thumb hovers above the button but it has to be gift wrapped with one of those greeting cards that plays music when you open it in order for me to swing.

Stay off the low pitches, they will kill your rallies. Make the pitcher get the ball up, then crush it.

For me I don't even use contact swing, it never results into a base hit for me, always either pops up or a ground out. I use regular swing unless I've got a good count in my favour with a power hitter than I use the power swing.

Re: Should I use circle and square more?

I rarely use the power swing because it usually ends up in a pop up. Lately I've been just working on my timing. The other day I started saying 'aaaaaaaaand SWING' in my head as soon as the ball leaves the pitchers hand. A couple of games ago I had something like 17 hits and I won 7-0. I may try the power swing a bit more if I can keep my timing on point.

This is pretty much what I do also. I pick and choose when to use power swing for good counts where I am sitting on one pitch.

I go by the the count..If I am behind, normal/contact..If I am ahead, normal/power...Just depends who is at the plate..
