Late inning cheese on HOF

Any of you finding the computer will score runs almost every 8th and 9th inning on HOF difficulty no matter how great you reliever is and pitch location? I've blown multiple 3 run leads in 8th and 9th inning over and over again on 3 run Homer's on balls that are little low and away on the black.

Am I missing something?

Pitch inside with the fastball and keep the breaking ball down low.

I don't play a pitcher I use a player locked SS in franchise mode however I have noticed when my team is winning. In the 8th or 9th inning some mystery pass ball or error will happen putting the CPU in closer scoring position.

This has been happening since MLB 14 I assume it will happen with each iteration of the game as it's probably using the same code base.


However the most ridiculous thing I have seen when I am up winning is that a ball will get hit towards the outfield I run my player locked SS to the white marker on the field to get the cutoff throw. The throw will go over my head my player will lock up and I can't move him. The ball will die in the dirt and the CPU will score a run to tie.

This has happened twice and I have video of it. I just decided not too upload the bug to the show nation as I have already submitted so many reports. The game was just released with so many bugs.

I personally never really focus on these types of things bugs in games etc but it's just so noticeable. I've just decided to play the game the way it is and wait for patches.

I completely forgot about their love of the squeeze play too lol. Bottom 12. They have 1st and 3rd with 1 out. So I keep double play depth. Literally as I release the ball I know I screwed up. Bunt. Game over.

I just shut out the Pirates in back to back games. Winning 4-0 and then 2-0.

Me neither. Its really toned down from last year when, at points, it was downright obvious the game had it out for you lol
