I had a really cool occurance. I came into the game with Jake Arrieta 20 strikeouts shy of tying Nolan Ryan for the most in a single season, and had never had more than 19 in a single game. In the 8th inning, I got Jake's 21st of the game, setting both the single game and single season record on the same pitch. Ended up with 23. Unfortunately, the game didn't mention the new records at all.

Playing against the Indians in my Braves franchise, and I have struck out 10 of the first 12 batters with Mike Foltynewics. Folty had everything working so I was already thinking about the strikeout record and the perfect game. Well in the fifth the very first batter hits a fly ball to Hector Olivera and he drops the damn thing! After that everything falls apart. Brewers end up scoring 6 in the 5th while only one of them was earned. I had another chance to get out of it only for Olivera to drop another fly ball! I was so pissed at him! Lol. I did end up with my best strikeout total ever at 16. With John Gant and Jim Johnson taking over for the final 4 innings.
