And if you think its silly they don't spend $$$ on licensing 30 Single A teams, then maybe you can donate the money to them to do so.

Anyone who plays DD and buys the online currency is donating basically. Trust me SDS won't be hurting for money.

Yeah, that's why they're dev & support team is as large as it is, because they have so much money to throw around.

I haven't seen any A team logos, or even team cities mentioned, but I do see that the Show uses the MLB teams Single A affiliate's nickname in game. I wonder if they have to pay for that?

When I'm tinkering with rosters, sometimes I won't realize I'm tring to put too many players in Single A and once you try to put more than 40, you get a message, like for example, the Orioles, "The Keys have reached their roster limit."

Advertising vs. licensing is an interesting thing. On the one hand, you might try to get paid if you know somebody wants to use your IP. On the other hand, if you're a small concern and would be happy to have your product shown off on a bigger stage, you might even pay for that opportunity (i.e., advertising).

We know from all the zany game-day gimmicks that minor league teams aren't shy about trying to attract people to their brand. As such, you wouldn't think a major, popular video game would have to pay much to get licensing from A-ball teams. That said, I have no idea what it would cost.

I love how you present your opinion as fact just to keep your argument going.

All those FIFA twitch streamers spends hundreds to thousands of dollars on a weekly basis (daily if there is a big event like TOTY), even if The Show only gets half of that that's at least a couple million. Single A licensing and money spent to get them into the game would be in the low thousands. Still ton of profit margin there from DD alone.
