Hitting during the Day vs Hitting during the night

Do any of you guys find it easier to hit at night, or during the day with overcast skies? I just played a game @ Camden during the day, and I couldn't track the ball at all, and only recorded three hits. I then played 2 night games in a row and had 7, and 11 hits respectably. Is anyone else noticing it is harder to track the ball during the day than at night or with dark skies?

I do. I find that tracking the ball on sunny days is a bit more difficult vs at night or overcast.

Having always played as the Cubs, I'm very much used to playing daytime games. I probably do track the ball better in the daylight than I do at night. Either way, I definately do the worst playing in the rain. Both at bat and pitching.

I thought the thread was about real life day vs night.
Me personally, I always hit better on Saturday mornings with a cup of coffee by my side.

Re: Hitting during the Day vs Hitting during the night

I just started a franchise with the Orioles. The opener was a day game at Camden. Skies were sunny and i could see the ball ok. Around the fifth inning the shadows crept over and I couldn't pick up the ball to save my life (which i loved). Then in game two (a night game) i still found myself having a very difficult time simply seeing the ball at all. Tonight i'm going to give fish eye a shot and see if that helps at all.

Wide is another good camera angle if you haven't tried it. That is what I hit on. Able to pick up low pitches easily.

Maybe it is the Fish Eye camera. I agree with the person that played at Camden the other night. All the hits were before the 4th inning, then the shadow messed me up bad. Is it like this at every stadium?
