Re: Pitches in one game

With Danks having a stamina of 87 & a durability of 59, you should never see him throw 137 pitches in a game.I just played a game with him just to see if I could injure him. But since I was fast forwarding my at bats, the computer took him out after 6 IP & 118 pitches.

Nah I'm not meaning to complain or bash the game at all, just felt like sharing and I was just curious if other people have seen this before lol

Pick one lol
Or he's using quick counts which explains this since it's done by design as a necessity.

Hyperbole is usually easier though I guess.

I'll take option 4. 138 is not ridiculously high. It's high,but not arm-falling-off outrageous.

Upon further review, you make a good point. In 2015, Danks never went over 120 pitches once (by one pitch; 121 pitches) and he hadn't gone over 120 in a game at any point before that. Danks has never thrown more than 121 pitches in a game. So I take back my previous post: 138 pitches for Danks is indeed ridiculous.

I played. I do use quick counts. I also down 9-0 in 7th. Not like it was worth keeping him in

Thats true. The CPU will almost never take a pitcher out for any reason beyond effectiveness or to pinch hit.
