Why not? I'm reading about glitches in the game but nothing about another patch coming out.

Considering there hasn't been a gameplay patch yet it's pretty safe to say it's in the works but no one knows details on patches until they're released

That's because they've given up on supporting the game less than a month after release!

(It's safe to assume there will be another patch, yes. As always, there will be a thread for patch news if and when info becomes available.)

Very last line from the patch 1.03 notes
"Please refrain from using Perks as a RTTS pitcher as it will cause the game to crash for the time being. We have a fix and it will be included in our next update."
