CPU Bunting to Break Up No Hitter

Has anyone else noticed (specifically for me in road to the show) the CPU bunting to break up a no hitter? I have had the CPU try on several occasions now around the 5th inning or so. It is really frustrating and would get you thrown at in real life and its killing the game for me to have that happen every time I get that far with a no-no. Is there anything I can do about it? Thanks guys.

5th inning?

In my mind, if they were doing it in the 7th/8th it'd be frowned upon, but the 5th inning? Nah, I'm okay with that.

I think I saw it once on one of the few times I'm working on a no-hitter (a perfect game actually). He tried to bunt a 102 MPH fastball, popped it up, and the catcher snatched it.

Granted, he might have just been trying to drag bunt because he was a fast player and CPU will do that at times.

Next time he came up, I threw a fastball up-and-in and backed him off. I know it doesn't do anything, but...yeah.

It's all about winning the game..Sure if the opposing team did it late in the innings it would be frustrating, but that shouldn't stop a team from doing it..What if it was game 7 of the world series? Everything on the line..I'd bunt in the 9th if I was being no-hit and the situation called for it..Unwritten rules or whatever

I've had 2 no hitters and several taken into the 8th/9th and have yet to see the CPU attempt a bunt to break it up. I have however lost a perfect game in the 9th on an infield single by Adam Lind. Infield single. Adam Lind. Let that sink in.

did you shift "extreme right" and he tapped it to 2nd base ?

No shift. Slow ground ball to the right of 2nd. Defender didn't have to leave his feet. Not an easy play, but also not something Adam Lind should be beating out either. I'd expect to give up an infield hit on that play to a good runner, but not someone with a speed rating of 23.
