MLB The Show 16 Patch 1.05 Available Now, Patch Notes Included

As mentioned yesterday, MLB The Show 16 patch 1.05 is available now, weighing in at 42 MB. No details are available yet, but let us know what you are seeing.

When the patch notes arrive, we will update this post.

UPDATE: Patch notes are here.

• Addressed issues with Cloud saves introduced in patch 1.04. All Cloud Saves should now work properly.
• Fixed classic base running, affected by patch 1.04.
• Online Action shot/card downloading now fixed.
• Weather in RTTS now updates correctly with Advance Day.
• Addressed an issue with lead off runners in online game-play. The batting team should now see their base runners leading off when they press L1.
• Fixed some issues with "L2 + base icon" to control the runner in RTTS.
• Off season free agent logic was not estimating budget room correctly because it was not accounting for staff salary. This caused teams to inaccurately set the max salary they could offer. This should now be fixed.
• Fixed issue where the xp earned in game was showing instead of the amount of stubs earned in game when returning to the front-end menu. This created a lot of confusion with users assuming they weren't earning stubs. Stubs earned are now being shown instead of XP.
• Fixed game settings not getting reset when exiting conquest and playing Extra Innings games. Extra Innings games should now be 9 innings in all cases, as intended.
• The calendar start times in Show Live should now display accurately.
• Challenge friends in online games should now apply all correct settings.
• Fixed a Sounds of the Show crash when attempting to delete music files after trying to import 520+ files.
• Various other bug fixes.

Hoping this will get rid of the open handed releases when pitching. Dunno if that was ever addressed by the devs tho.

Won't be able to check the game until tonight, but I'll keep an eye out on OS.

Someone please post an update on whether or not the auto baserunning glitch is fixed. I haven't been able to play since I discovered base runners staying at their base despite hits occurring.

Baserunning online still has the same issue(s). Had a base hit where I could clear the bases and the man running to 3rd that had "Home" stopped at 3rd, while the man trailing him had "3rd" actually went to third. Same issue since patch 1.04. Offline against the computer this is not an issue!

Carryover saves exactly the same. It seems we'll never see a fix for these OB% errors.

Are player cards changed at all? Did they add in the season total screen? Can you see it during lineup screen?

Absolutely ridiculous. 60 dollars for a game, and you can't even fix a base running glitch after a patch. Quite frankly an issue like this shouldn't make it past beta testing, much less after a patch.

Thanks for the updates guys. I downloaded the patch but won't be able to play until tonight. Excited that offline seems to be fixed, as thats all I play. Since the last patch, 90% of my runs scored have come on homers, and I'm down to 3-4 runs a game.

Offline is fixed? Perhaps if you don't mind seeing 75+ SP with 3+ complete games, and 20+ SP with 3+ shutouts per season. Real MLB in 2015 had 10 SP with 3+ CG, and just 3 who had at least 3 shutouts.

Totally ridiculous this hasn't been addressed for years, and no slider combo can fix it.

Nope...the same. Also, uniform numbers not added and still can't toggle instant/delayed trades.
(wasn't necessarily expecting these, but I held out some hope)

Oh well. At least I stayed busy since I decided to hold off on franchise and I got all my SOTS and roster stuff completely taken care of (every player, every team in MLB has personalized sounds now)...so there's that. I'm sure much of this gets smoothed out next year.

Hopefully the other, bigger issues people were having at least got addressed.

Wait WHAT? I thought I was slumping but EXACTLY the same has happened to me.

I had both pitch speed sliders at 8 and doing just fine with zone hitting (first year with zone). After the latest patch really frustrated, thinking about going back to timing and both pitch speed sliders at 5 atm.
