Then the post-season started, and he was my best player. Ever since then he's been solid gold. I'm in 2017 now and he has a shot at MVP. Sometimes you just have to stick it out.
I am trying to stick it out with Markakis, but I'm not sure I will be able to. Inciarte has been out since spring training with a broken hand, and I plan on starting him in RF once he gets back. Mallex Smith is killing it right now though hitting over .300. Markakis did have a go ahead RBI single in my last game in the 8th only for the bullpen to blow the next inning. Maybe that can get him going.

Re: Unluckiest Player?

For almost every year I've played The Show, I seem to have a player on my team who the CPU just pitches rediculously tough compared to the rest of my players. For a long time, that was Alfonso Soriano. More recently, its been Javy Baez. The CPU just seems to take it up a notch, and no matter who's on the mound, they become like a 99 OVR Greg Maddux, hitting all of the corners and forcing me into nothing but weak contact. It drives me nuts how they pitch Baez SO much tougher than they do Rizzo, or Bryant, and anyone else I throw out there.

I traded for Trayce Thompson. After a good start, he's 0 for his last 35. Any time he hits the ball hard, it's right at somebody. He's now batting .098 for me.
