CPU trades for me in Franchise when set to manual

I'm in the middle of the season in my franchise and right before the trade deadline the CPU keeps initiating a trade for me automatically. I've set trades to manual in the mode specific options but it keeps making the same trade. I've never approved it or given an ok. Just as soon as I advance a day the trade is executed. What am I doing wrong that it's over writing my settings?

I've seen this happen a few times as well. Happened last year as well. I usually just trade the players back.

Sounds like a bug to me, and a bad one at that. I'd submit it if you can.

Retroactively yeah you can trade the players back, but still stinks that it goes through in the first place.

Are any of the players on the trade block or anything or is it just a random trade?

Are you using 30 team control or single team control?

I'm using 30 team control.

I had Ender Inciarte on the trade block and that's the trade that the CPU keeps doing. Same trade every time. I reloaded the save and took him off the trade block and it did the same trade again.

It looks like it may be a bug. I'll submit it.

It's a shot in the dark, but this can work for both RTTS and Franchise.

Turn injuries on and set them to the highest frequency that it'll go. Save the game. And then simulate to that next day. It may take some time, but at some point someone, maybe even the players involved, will get injured. Then the CPU can't complete the trade. Once this happens, either turn Injuries off or restore them to their default setting.
