Best value players in franchise

This year more so than ever I am relying on mid level guys and sleepers to bring my team to the next level. These are the guys who are typically under 80 overall but play like 90+ players. Here are a few of my favorite, please share yours as well.

1. Corey Dickerson-incredible power and contact
2. Colby Rasmus-home run machine
3. Ben Paulson-sleeper of the year, very affordable
4. Craig Gentry- crazy speed and very good contact against lefties
5. Maikel Franco-could win an MVP award, plays and sims very well
6. Nick Hundley-best hitting catcher outside of Posey. Sims well
7. Randal Grichuk-one of the best up and coming OF

Some guys play well when user controlled, some play well while in sim mode. In my opinion all these guys play and sim well. None of them will cost you a lot either.

Re: Best value players in franchise

Greg "The Birdman" Bird - This kid is raking for me in my Fantasy Cardinals Franchise. I am thrilled I took him as a value power hitting lefty. Leads my team (a team with Bryce Harper mind you) in RBI's thru June 28th with 49 and second in HR's (16) to Harpers 17.

Jarrod Dyson is hitting .341 in 120 ABS with 60-some steals for me. I pretty much traded for him just to pinch run and the occasional start in LF, but he's hard to keep out of the lineup.

Re: Best value players in franchise

For me right now it would have to be Randal Grichuk. Currently hitting .300 and is 3rd on the team in homeruns and 2nd in RBI's. He is also playing great in CF and has to be leading the league with 5 robbed homeruns.

Another would be Miguel Socolovich. He was brought up to replace a struggling Seth Maness and has a below 1.00 ERA in 20 innings of work.

Re: Best value players in franchise

I needed some outfield depth in my Phillies franchise, so I picked up Dalton Pompey for a SP prospect in an offseason trade. Best move I ever made in my franchise.

It's the 2019 season and he's my everyday leadoff hitter (was consistently outplaying Obdubel Herrera, wasn't even close) at a 78 overall. He's currently batting .318 with 30+ steals through 102 user-played games. Great at defense as well.

Brock Holt immediately comes to mind. He can play nearly every position in the field and has good contact numbers to go along with above-average speed.

I know there are countless others, but Holt ranks near or at the top of the list for me.
