Re: How to grind through the dog days?

One more down 15 to go. Just took a game lead over the Brewers. Finishing up is a grind but I'd like to do it by next Wednesday. Don't think it will happen.

Re: How to grind through the dog days?

Take a few days off it's been mentioned numerous times but I just got done taking like 2-3 days off from the show and it's a brand new game.

I kid you not I spent waaaayyy too much time on franchise i believe yesterday playing until the early morning before only sleeping for 3 hours. Played only 3 games today due to other obligations. But can wait to play tomorrow. Also try quick counts if you are up for it it is a nice change of pace

I've started 18 different seasons so far and I have been waiting for that perfect roster for 2 years. I will get started on my "real" season pretty soon.

I know how that is. 7 or 8 years ago, I used to be like a kid in a candy store.
I wanted to take each team to the World Series. When quick counts were first introduced
I thought I'd end up back in the same boat, but luckily my discipline has gotten better.
But if I were retired I probably would play 30 different franchises. This year I played with the Rockies in season mode & I kept a false start pace & played & replayed & replayed their Opening Day game against the D'Backs about 5 times. I couldn't decide whether I wanted to play the year with Jose Reyes at short instead of using OSFM's Trevor Story. Then I couldn't decide if I wanted to use Ben Paulsen at first or Mark Reynolds. So then I restarted again
& signed free agent Justin Morneau to play first. And it took me forever to decide how to set the Rockie pitching staff rotation & bullpen. Back in that candy store a little bit this year lol
