Uniforms with incorrect sock colors

The Brewers have been wearing these socks almost exclusively this year vs the solid color socks in the game.

Just played first game with Seattle and those cream uniforms and there are no names on the back.

I want to say it's the Alternate 3 socks, if I remember right. They should be the dark blue socks, but instead they're the lighter blue that matches the pin stripe alternates they have.

Unfortunately one of the short comings of this game I believe are the uniforms. That and the failure to update the player models from year to year are my biggest complaints.

I found a most interesting web site which features all the color codes for MLB uniforms. SD Studio could refer to this site in order to come up with the exact color palettes for all teams. The codes are specific to every colors used by every MLB teams. Each color has its own code which can be copied and pasted on a sheet and enlarged at will and serve as models for those in charge of uniforms at SD Studio. With those codes, it's impossible not to reproduce the exact color for unis and other accessories. With that simple technology, how can you go wrong? No more faded black, no more ''maroonish’’ red, etc, etc. Hopefully, next year's version will reflect ''the real thing'' as far as uniforms are concerned.

I would think they get the proper pantone shades and whathaveyou from the style guide they have access to as part of the licensing agreement. I don't think the issue is getting the right colours, it's displaying them correctly in the game engine, e.g lighting. I think Madden had a similar issue a couple of years ago where the uniforms were tested under one set of conditions, but found that once in game, the different stadium lighting and weather conditions made the colours look wrong.

The socks for the Diamondbacks away throwbacks are black but should be purple.

Would be amazing if those were corrected!
