Can I add a created player without replacing a player?

I created some players I wanted to add to the Cubs but don't want to replace anyone in the file I am using. Is it possible to do this?

Franchise Mode you can only have 90 players.
Season Mode you can have up to 40 players.
So you will have to lose someone somewhere.

My advice is to replace older, minor league players.

Yup, until they make it possible to import players into your franchise, that's your only option.
