The Show 17 and PS4 Pro Preview

Hey guys,

I'm wondering if anyone else is sitting on their hands and feet about this one.

The Twitch stream schedule doesn't seem to highlight any PS4 Pro showcases. While this is certainly understandable, has anybody heard of The Show 17 having any real benefits for Pro owners? Any rumors or anything?

At this stage, I'm a little worried 17 will play standard on both an original PS4 and a Pro.

Would love it if anybody could shed some light or opinion on the matter.

I sure am as I got a new Sony 4K HDR TV and upgraded to PS4 Pro specifically with MLB The Show 17 in mind! I mean it's a sure bet 18 will take advantage of the Pro enhancements but I sure am hoping 17 does too because it would suck to have to wait another whole year for HDR and perhaps even native 4K support. I mean some of those games that already have HDR support look amazing in person!

But considering how small the MLB The Show development team is compared to other game development teams my hope for Pro enhancements for MLB The Show 17 is kind of low

Maybe Russell could chime in on this subject because honestly why would MLB The Show 17 having Pro enhancements or not be such a big secret?

Although didn't Sony already announce back in November that all first party games released in 2017 and beyond for Pro must support 4K and HDR I think?

Also like I think I said before even MLB The Show 16 looks really great on my new TV even without true 4K and HDR. So imagine what HDR and 4K will do for MLB The show visuals. If you have a great quality TV then even without HDR and 4K Native support MLB The Show will still look VERY good!

But man o man I know it can look sooooo much better!
