I was playing a game this evening in MLB 16 and the opposition SS muffed a hit at his feet that he probably should have handled cleanly. It wasn't as big as a muff as Sano's here in the video where Sano had to spin around to retrieve the ball. But it was a muff nonetheless and the Brewers SS Arcia in my game was able to recover and throw my baserunner out at 1B. So a certain degree of this human AI is not new. I think what will be new is when the fielder has time he will take his time throwing to the bag whereas if he is rushed he will rush the thrown. I just hope with all this human AI that infield hits do not become obsolete. They still have a place in the game. Time will tell.

Only three weeks to go.

Looks beautiful, well done!

I can't wait to see little things like this play out during a game of my own. Even the developer tourney games should provide lots of great takeaways that won't be touched on in other streams. I always enjoy them but they're sure to be that much more interesting this year.

Look at than cannon of a throw by Sano! Looks like SCEA paid attention to the statcast data and got him a deserved ratings upgrade for that 75 arm of his.
