This was happening to me to. I fixed it by going on Twitter manually and following mlbtheshow17, and then going back to the other window and clicking Verify. It worked right after that.

I can't get the instagram one to work for the life of me. I click verify and nothing happens.

Edit: I got it to work on my computer. Couldn't get it to work on my phone.

You might have to unfollow, then follow again.
