Since the servers were (and still are) down, I played a quick game. Got 4 trophies and I will never play it again. I had my time with the 8-bit graphics 30 years ago. I buy these games for the realism and the presentation, not the nostalgia.

Absolutely yes. It's the perfect mode for kids. I grew up playing NES games like RBI, Bases Loaded, etc. so this is like those games on steroids (maybe not the best analogy for a baseball game, but you know what I mean lol).

Retro mode is for when you're really drunk and can't see pitches anymore.
