Probably going to hof for both again. Might try legend for a rtts guy.

Seems like people are going for an easier pitching difficulty and harder hitting difficulty, game seems to have alot of offense on default sliders.

Is this for real?

So are you still doing a Legend slider set, or bump it back down to HOF? I've used your sets in the past but Legend is too hard and not as fun as HOF. That's my vote if you're counting. Thanks

I'm not particularly great at the Show, but for now I'm rolling with All Star hitting and pitching.

On the flipside, hitting seems to reward good contact more. I might go up a level if I keep seeing good results. Considering that offense seems up across the board (both from the CPU against a human pitcher and for a human batter against the CPU), I'm inclined to agree with the theory that the improved ball physics are creating some side effects. The reward for lining up a pitch well might need to be toned down a little bit.
Of course my first game after this post runs contrary to everything I said in it.

Was no-hit through six and change against a middling Reds starter while I threw a combined 15 strikeout shutout with Nova as the starter (same settings as my last few games). The pitching at All-Star felt a lot like HOF from last year (probably would have had more weak contact outs last year as opposed to K's though).

Hitting was probably an anomaly in this one as Feldman threw pretty much nothing but strikes and I hit something hard or deep into an out at least once an inning when I had my 1-6 guys up. By contrast, most of my poor hitting games last year would have involved nothing but weak grounders and pop-ups. Even poor performances are more enjoyable this year. lol
