Yeah probably not the best selection, but I meant to say the amount of bunt singles could take away from the HR/H percentage.

Try simming to the next season and play a couple of games. You should notice the issue almost immediately. That was my experience

Got it. And agree, bunt singles numbers would be interesting to know as well.

No thanks. Lol. I'll play this season for the next couple months and hopefully they'll have a fix by then.

You don't have to keep it that way. Just don't save. It might be helpful to creating a fix if the issue isn't present in carryovers until an advance to the offseason.

Eyeballing the chart I'm guessing the HR total to be about 18%, which is only a couple points above the percentage for league leading teams in this statistic.

While the totals are slightly above actual MLB stats, given the number of people that play this game, the variance in skill levels, and my personal experience, I'm shocked that the stats are that close to reality!

18% of 3m is 540.000 and it still seems a bit too high for me (1 hit out of 5-6 is HR) but I'm not really into pie-charts and unless we got more data your guess is good as mine. However, anecdotal evidences aside, hopefully devs will investigate this (alleged) issue further.

It's a bit high but you're still going to average less than 2 homeruns per game. Average homeruns per game in real life is about 1.2 per game, average hits per game is about 8.7 or so. 1 homerun every 6 hits (rough guesstimate) really isn't that far off.

That's not even close.

If you compare 1.2 HR to 8.7 hits, that's even less than 1 home run per 7 hits.

Does that make a difference? Only if you feel that a career .300 hitter versus a career .270 hitter is a big difference... which everybody does.

And is 8.7 hits per game accurate? I'm not saying it is or isn't, that just sounds low is all. Or is that per team, per game? If so, that makes much more sense.
