On PS4 games on disc install in less than a minute.
I think install times are a problem only on XBox, but I've never even seen the console, it's what I've read.

My Disc download had my ps4 sounding like a vacuum cleaner--- I've never heard it so loud (or warm!) I have never experienced that with digital games (other than Batman) FWIW
