Google says it's now where Nickerson Field stands.

Correct, Nickerson even uses the stands from Braves Field.

I believe the bottom corner of the picture is the outfield, with the center of the photo being home plate.

Which, in regards to Fenway Park, is about a mile down the street.

I went to a game at County Stadium in Milwaukee a few seasons before it closed. Best landscaping I've seen at a ballpark. The grass was just beautiful.

And yes, old old yankee stadium where Ruth, DiMaggio, and Mantle played should be in the game.
That's why this is interesting. I enjoy the blighted, beautifully imperfect stadiums like Old Yankee the most, which I'm glad to see on PS4 now. Even though the game won't capture it I used to enjoy Candlestick's terrible weather conditions every night. I want Candlestick personally, but it's mostly because of it's bad weather otherwise I wouldn't care as much. League Park from Cleveland is a place I'd love to finally see as well.

I was just about to post that. It is kind of cool that part of the stadium is still around. Here's a current picture.

And here's a good one of the those stands back in the day.

I don't think any of the old ballparks are over hyped. They are throwbacks to another time and that's why we enjoy seeing them. I like the older parkers much more than the cookie cutter ones from the 1970s. Those parks had no character.

I think it's more nostaliga than anything else. I remember for years people complained about Old Yankee Stadium and how it missed the closeness of OLD OLD Yankee stadium. Then suddenly when New Yankee Stadium was built, OLD Yankee stadium became a classic and nobody remembers all the complaints.

btw - didn't MVP baseball have create a stadium mode? it was one of those old games. Why can't they add that to THE SHOW? People would be able to create everything then.
