Not trying to be a complainer here, there are some things about MLB 17 that I really like (ball physics!), but it seems like there were changes to some things that had been perfectly fine. I don't know if they were changed purposely or were the result of some of the other changes for this year, but I thought we could start a list of things that changed that were better before. I'll start:
1. The bat sound. It was great, now it's okay.
2. The satisfying "klonk" sound that used to be there when the ball would hit a metal surface, like the dugout railings.
3. SOTS not specifying a playlist for "In game cues" and only having the editor and leaving people to figure it out on their own.
4. Chalk/dirt degradation change.
5. Jumbotron at Comerica Park. They literally had this perfect in '16. No clue why they would modify it.
6 Only having one volume slider for all commentators, taking away the option to only have the play by play audio, among other adjustments. I've already turned commentary off, because the 3 of them are very inconsistent in their volume levels.
That's what I have off the top of my head. Anyone have anything else to list?
