You are defending a 600 foot homer, not a 500 foot homer.

Right, and since nobody posting on this site has ever seen it with their own eyes, it's surely impossible.

Think about this scientifically. We have thousands and thousands of data points showing that humans can only hit a baseball ball about 550 feet, at the very, very most. And those 550 foot homers occur probably 1 in 1,000,000 pitches at the very least. That is probably very conservative. And you're here suggesting that this one guy allegedly hit several homers 20% plus further than the farthest home run available in that data set?

Do you realIze the statistical likelihood of that? I don't think you do, because if you knew what it was, you'd realize it was an absolutely impossible feat.

The image shows where the ball hit. On the very top of the frieze. At the flight's apex. If that's not there, how far does the ball go?

I have no idea what you're even arguing at this point - all I know is that actual humans can't hit baseballs 600 feet. If you're cool with that happening in the game, you should also be cool with flames shooting out of Billy Hamilton's feet as he runs. Both are physical impossibilities.

You know what? Im tired of this and it is going absolutely no where fast. These two camps are never going to see eye to eye. The trolling on both sides is getting ridiculous and we have 602 other threads that are all arguing the same thing.
