Team selection in Franchise mode

So this is probably going to get largely ignored and I understand that but I was hoping someone could give me a good team to play as in a franchise mode?

I'm ok at the game but my timing when batting is not the best. What I'm looking for is a good team that will have fun players to play with and will keep my interest for a full season and beyond.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

To go into more or what your looking for are you looking for already made well rounded team that can take you to the postseason first year or a team that has really good upcoming prospects that once they develop can turn your team into a winning one.

Hmmm, to be honest I'm open to either route if you have a suggestion for both?

Well like Caulfield said the best teams are the
Cubs, Mets, Indians
to name a few so if you want a pretty easy main priority is winning a WS those are the teams to do it with now for rebuilding teams they require more work as you have prospects in the minors that have to grow, some teams to consider if you wanna go down that route are
Oakland
Brewers
Phillies
Reds
Yankees
Braves
And probably others

If you're open to a lot of trades, you could always pick a team with a good stadium and uniforms and basically "create" your own team.

Any suggestions? I suppose the pirates and the giants would be the two most obvious?

You could always move your timing slider to the right a click to help you on your timing. As far as team to play, I would suggest a good contact team.
