foul balls counting as strike outs

Ok so I am fighting off pitches and then randomly sometimes a foul ball counts as strike 3. Anyone else experiencing this? It happens at least once a game. I play on Legend.

You're foul tipping into the catchers glove. Other than that, I've never seen a foul ball count as strike three. (I'm 25 games into online games)

No you are wrong. It even happens on foul balls that are roped down the line or choppers that I clearly see. It is absolutely not foul tipping into the mitt. I am not a newbie to the game.

I haven't been on this forum in forever...Is there a way I can upload a video of this? I would be happy to do because it will not be hard for me to run into this issue again. It happens every game for me. I play on legend with hitting set at analog flick...

I'll give you more details. This is a regular exhibition game against the CPU. Legend difficulty.

I wish because I'd have a lot more strikeouts against the CPU.

Lol, I had the same thing happen only once though. In my RTTS I kept fighting off pitches and finally fouled it lined right into the stands and the Matt V said "strike 3 and that's the side..." lol I was like "huh...wha...wha..."

I also seem to have my 2b cpu controlled teammate who doesnt like to throw the ball hahaha. He constantly holds it. Lol
