RTTS - Your Connection has been lost Lockup?

So I'm playing RTTS this afternoon. I'm completely a game and it gets to the "Item Rewards" segment (which I have no idea why it hangs there every time like something is going to happen, but very rarely does), and suddenly I get a message "your connection has been lost" and I can't do anything now. The only button that works is the PS button which will only allow me to exit the game. I can't continue, so I've lost my progress since my last save?

What the heck? I'm playing single player and a server issue has locked the game up?

Same as last night, I still guess....it's attempting to connect to the servers to update your universal profile, but that's where it's hanging up. I noticed the forums were slow too today, so it's probably related.

As I suggested to someone else last night, I'd un-check "Connect to Internet" in the PS4 network options if you want to play offline without being interrupted.

It's not okay to have to do that of course, and something they need to address very soon.

Literally just happened to me. First time. Had to restart game.

Edit: Turned off connection to PSN while playing '17 til server issues are figured out.

Yeah same thing happened to me last night. Was hoping it'd be fixed by now.

That happened to me the other day, i just closed the application because i couldn't do anything, but it still saved all my progress.

So i don't think you'll lose any progress if you close the application.

If you have auto save on you should be fine, if you're saving manually ....

This is absurd. I can't even play with the daily rosters... Just started happening today.

I can't believe I paid $100 for this game
