I am currently nearing the end of my first season with Orioles and Machado is a free agent in 2018. I wanted to tie him down to a new contract as well as improved contracts for Trumbo and Jones but I can't for the life of me see an option to do this. Can you manage player contracts in season mode or is it only franchise?

you can play more than one season and sign players up to 15 years
go to advance to off season, manage contracts
