spring training difficulty vs play now games

hi guys....ive been playing the show for a few years now and i play on legend default with pure analog stride and pitching....now.....whenever i do play now games it plays really well,im able to get men on base, get walks, score runs and win about 50% to 60% of the time, love the way it plays......then all of a sudden i try and start a franchise and for some reason,my guys cant get hits, everything is popped up or lined to an infielder and the only runs i can score are from the odd solo homerun.....its like diffuculty increases even more when you start a franchise......ive tried this over and over , its not a 1 off thing.am i doing something wrong settins wise?does something change when you start a franchise?please help

Re: spring training difficulty vs play now games

the only thing that I know that would be different would be player morale doesnt have an effect in play now. thats probably only a minor concern, but I bet there are other small factors as well that add up to making play now ''easier''.
