Bullpen Inconsistencies

Hey All,

Something I had noticed about last years show and even previous installments is the wild inconsistency between my franchise bullpen when simming games. It always seems like simmed games the biggest losses are always coming from the bullpen where one pitcher will give up 5+ runs each loss with only one innings work, also while simming the game seems to always refuse to use your ACTUAL closer to close games instead randomly picking a pitcher from the long or short relief slot to close games even if your closer has not pitched for the past 3-4 games. I was wondering if anyone had any tips or strategies they use to try and keep this under wraps, do you put all of your pitchers in the LR slot or set up slots? Its starting to get pretty annoying with guys like Betances and Kenley Jansen with 6.00+ ERA's through almost 3 months of the season.

I do not see these issues.

bullpen set-up:

one - LRP

four - MRP

one - SU

one - Closer

sim sliders:

starter stamina - 6

reliever stamina - 0

manager hook - 4

injury - 7

You have to 30 team control to make that work though, don't you?

Franchise SIM is dead. Find your favorite iterations and play it forever. Card games are whats "now" and games will cater in that direction and forget realism.

Just have fun and play :)
