I can tell you that since the latest patch the AB cancelling has occurred less frequently. Essentially back to what it was before the 1st patch. So I can tell you that the problem is not my grip but apparently the cancelling isn't occurring as frequently. Sounds like a developer problem to me.

Edit: Just saw a new patch. Haven't tested with new patch.

This is not fixed in the patch, I just had it happen again and it cost me a chance at scoring runs. No outs and a guy on first, single through the 3b and ss and I look up and the guy on first is standing there not moving. I adjusted my grip on the controller weeks ago when this was happening and keep my fingers below the R1 and R2 buttons. Very frustrating as this is very much a problem with gameplay.

Just played a game post patch and I agree it is still there, but it is much better than it was after the first patch. It makes me wonder if the change in hitting sound had anything to do with it. Doesn't seem like it would but it is odd that when they changed it back it was improved.

As much as I love the conversation about it, keep capturing video. Unfortunately at this point words have so many different meanings due to interpretations. Video is the BEST way for me to communicate issues.

One issue that occurs even with manual base running that I had happen once is the runner on second tagging up on a double that ended up dropping, which prevented him from scoring. I don't know if this is a major issue as he could have just misread the play but it would be nice to have some control.

I am happy to do it as long as developers are saying they need more examples and are not saying it is user error. The reason I say this because vids take a while to upload. And I can't play the game while they are uploading. Thanks.

Off topic: I have also included a link to show the uniform glitches I have been requesting for years that SDS fix. We should not see this in a next gen game. You can see the glitches in sleeves of all players and in their equip. I hope you can pass this along to SDS too. Thanks.
