I'm playing with Cleveland who have decently high walls and see it at least once a game if a ball is hit there. Last night I hit a ball that landed just fair. It bounced into the seats in foul territory.

For me balls hit high enough to do that never stay fair. Lol

Re: Ground rule doubles...too many?

2 in 35 games. 1 played a part in one of the weirdest sequences in my 30 years of sports gaming

Bottoms of the 9th no outs. Runner is going to score which means I lose. I sit the controller down ball bounces over so the runner only gets third. Then the computer suicide squeezes two times in a row and fails both for easy outs. I win a few innings into extras.

I see one maybe every few games, that's reasonable IMO

Funny how people playing the game have so varied results...from "all the time" to "never see it", to "just about right". For me, I'd say it's "just about right". Definitely doesn't need a patch.

It really depends on the park you play in. Pretty much any fly ball that gets over the RF's head at Fenway will bounce over the fence for a ground rule double.

But hey, that's pretty realistic, so I'm not complaining.

Just hit another in today's game at Chase field, that is 2 for the series. Those fences look pretty low though so it's all good.
