Eric Hosmer glitched?

I play as the White Sox in my franchise, and for both of the series that I've faced the Royals, every time Eric Hosmer comes up to bat there is no walk-up presentation screen. I play with the Broadcast pitching camera and when he comes up to bat his stat overlay will show up at the bottom of the screen for about 3-5 seconds, then go away, all while I'm selecting my pitch.

Anyone else experience this? He's the only guy that this has ever happened to for me.

I signed him in my Mets Franchise and I can confirm this. It happens when he's on a user team as well. Very strange

It was in the game last year as well. Thought it was fixed this year but after patches it came back. Not a huge deal to me but mildly annoying.

Glad I'm not the only one noticing this. Doesn't happen every time too which is strange.

Never noticed it before in last year's game, but have come across is multiple times within the past few days (reached a point of facing the Royals twice in about a week of my franchise).

I honestly thought the post was going to say, "He keeps grounding out to 2nd base EVERY TIME he comes to the plate!"

This is because Eric Hosmer does not walk up to the plate... He simply appears.
