Anyone ever seen this glitch?

Unfortunately I don't have a video (I'll see if I can get one tonight), but basically, I was in a tie game in the top of the 8th inning, 6-6. The previous batter hit a home run to tie the game. This is on Legend difficulty, offense and pitching. No one on.

Batter comes up and laces a pitch down the left field line. Gardner (I'm the Yankees) comes over to cut if off and throws it into second. I hit the button to throw it directly to second, however after I've already thrown the ball, I decided to have it cut off. And here's where the glitch happened. Every single fielder froze except Gardner. No one could move. The ball rolled all the way to the wall near first base but no one could move so Gardner had to run all the way from left field to retrieve the ball near first base. The runner seeing this scurried all the way home for what was counted as an inside the park home run to give them a 7-6 lead.

Never seen anything like this happen before. Anyone seen anything like this?

Oh man that stinks. I hope thats a rare glitch and hard to duplicate. I would definitely replay that game if happened to me.

This happened a lot to me with Player Lock in MLB 16 and twice so far in MLB 17. In MLB 16 I saw the CPU score a run in MLB 17 the runner advanced to second with that slow run no awareness animation when you get to close to the bag and the second time ran all the way to third. Both situations gave the CPU a advantage or put into a scoring situation. I also play on Legend.

I lost complete control of my created player froze up and the ball goes through me and its like you are no longer involved on the field or the play.


Oh well man I just try to overlook it.
