Has anyone else noticed the swing analysis graphic has changed with the new patch? It used to be an oval with the lines different colors based on your timing. Well at least with analog hitting. Now the oval is a big yellow blob with yellow dots around the outside. I looked on this forum and didn't see anyone else mention this. Maybe the patch got messed up somehow only with me?

That's the PCI. You change its appearance in Gameplay Options under hitting. There are like 5 different settings. The different types have no impact on hitting, but I think the one you're talking about is the best because it shows you despite having a large PCI, only the center solid yellow portion is actually barreling the ball."The designated hitter rule is like letting someone else take Wilt Chamberlain's free throws."

Yes, it's called the "buckshot" PCI display which was patched in with 1.07.
It's far superior than the old "double parenthesis" PCI in my opinion and a huge step in the right direction towards understanding hitting tendencies/outcomes.Born Seattle, live Denver.
